Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 49302
Table Cell Alignment lost when Splitting/Merging Cells
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Problem: When merging cells in a table, sometimes the vertical allignment of the columns is broken. Reproduction: - Create a new writer document - Insert a table with 20 columns and 2 rows - In the first row, merge the first 10 cells - No either increase the zoom (shows that the vertical lines of the columns don't fit any more) or try to mark the left merged cell and the cells in the next column (then in the second row 11 cells are marked instead of 10) This bug only appears with a rather large number of columns. It is very annoying when e.g. defining bit fields etc. The bug is still existent in OOo 2 Beta.

MRU->FME: doing the described merge-process, you can see with a zoom of 150% that the columns are not aligned anymore in the two rows. Also, when trying to select the large cell and the ten cells below, elevel cells of the second row will be selected.
