Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 56913
WW8: Save and open in web layout even if the file is not web page
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:25:55 UTC
Sometimes, a user prefers to use the web layout to edit documents like Word documents even if this file is not a web page. (Maybe the screen is more fully used.) I suggest that OOo should show a document in web layout if a user edited this document in this view previously. Then, the user does not need to switch to web layout manually every time the document is opened.
Reassigned to ES.
Like issue 55283, this is a duplicate to issue 51659. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 51659 ***
Reopened, place my comment into wrog issue... sorry!
ES->MRU: for sure you know a duplicate to this RFE! ;)
MRU->FLR: when saving in WW8 format (and of course when importing), the filter should recognize at least if the Word document was saved with active Web- or Print view. These two view options are even known by OO Writer.
